l'Occitane Shea Butter Body Scrub and Cream

Seeking for the softest, sweetest smelling skin?
Look no further!
l'Occitane is a favourite brand of mine and this set is del-icious.
The shea butter scent is heavenly without being overpowering, even if you have sensitive skin you can still smother yourself.
Start with the scrub, which has large beads which feel like a mini massage as well as cleaning the skin; you can see and feel the results instantly.
Complete with moisturising with the cream. Thick, soft and sinks into the skin with no oily consistency.
The whole process feels incredibly luxurious. Slip into your favourite pyjamas afterwards and curl up with a cup of cocoa and a movie.

Wardrobe Staples

Jeans, Top, Jacket: Topshop, Sandals: Aldo, Bag: Zara, Bracelet: HOH, Sunglasses: Rayban

Manchester makes it extremely difficult to decide what to wear.
I am guilty of the impulse purchase of pretty, impractical pieces that sit in the back of my wardrobe.
I'm currently trying to create a basic wardrobe of clothes I can wear for work and for casual wear.
Stylish layers are essential. Just imagine an umbrella in that bag and that's all I need!

Gym-spiration

A year from now, you'll wish you started today.

Every Pinterest user I've viewed has a fitness inspiration board to inspire them to gain a gorgeous, slim figure in the best way they know how; health and fitness. How refreshing that such a positive message is being promoted to it's 10 million users*.

The premise is simple, to eat healthy foods and exercise regularly. And to catch that boy looking at you when he thinks you won't notice.

The idea is to not punish your body by working so hard you're put off exercising for the whole week or  to eat so little that you rush to the fridge when you arrive home and consume digestive biscuits with a squirty cream topping. Love your body by fuelling regularly with healthy, yummy foods and go for a walk or a yoga class in between a good work out to get your heart beating.

Exercise is also a great way to clear your mind. A bad day at work, an argument with a boyfriend or generally feeling like the ugly duckling will instantly evaporate as you almost literally run away from everything. We all try to cram far too much into our daily lives and just try too damn hard to make everyone happy; from our general persona to impressing at work to looking our best. It's exhausting. So tie your hair out of your face, throw on some joggers and run.

*I understand the site has been under fire for pro-anorexia, but that hasn't been my personal experience of the site

Berlin

In February I visited Berlin.
Pre warned about the low temperature, nothing prepared me for the sheer freezing temperatures of -15˚c
Good job our hotel had a sauna.
A gorgeous city, especially in the snow, with the most friendly locals who took pity on my very broken German.

Coat: Barbour, Jeans: Topshop, Boots: Dune, Cossack: ASOS, Scarf and Gloves: All Saints
I also have many, many layers on.

What I Wore

Last weekend I visited London, as mentioned in a previous post.
Whenever I visit I always remember how much I love the city and it's diversity from anywhere else I've visited; every part has different restaurants, bars, people..
It's difficult not to get wrapped up in a musical-esque frame of mind.
So just go with it.
Here's what I wore

Whole outfit: Topshop, Shoes: Aldo, Bag: Jigsaw, Sunglasses: Chloe

Wedding outfit. Dress (Maxi): Oasis, Blazer: Topshop, Bag: Miss Selfridge, Shoes: Kurt Geiger
(Excuse my facial expression, I was snapped whilst talking)

Carvela at Kurt Geiger

Kurt Geiger is the Jimmy Choo of the High Street. Exquisite displays of styles that make me go weak at the knees, I often find myself wondering into the store to simply pretend I am walking into my walk in wardrobe..
Having been a student until September I've not had the disposable income to purchase a pair of Kurt Geigers; a new Topshop outfit for that night always seemed to get in the way. Now that I'm a honey making money (throw your hands up at meee), I've found that I want to spend my money on higher quality clothing and accessories.
Welcome to my wardrobe, Kurt

Instagram

Instagram receives a lot of comments from established photographers and bloggers on its easiness and lack of effort to use ... but thats just why I like it! I do try and take my Lumix everywhere but sometimes its just another thing to carry; and who wants that when you're out causing all kinds of mischief? Here's my recent Instagram experiences.

Manchester Market tulips in a jar. £2 to cheer up a Friday afternoon.

My very first pair of Kurt Geiger shoes. I will blog about these at a later date; I bought them as a promotion present to myself and for a wedding this weekend where all the girls swooned over them.

Joliebox is a monthly beauty box company presented in gorgeous packaging

We spent a tourist day in London as we were there for the wedding anyway. We stayed with friends in Belzise Park and visited the Natural History Museum, Harrods and The London Eye. We stopped for brunch at a quaint little Libanais cafe called Comptoir.
